Check whether a notice includes your address
Read the provider, street, municipality and building numbers together before treating a notice as relevant.
Start with the provider and place
Two similar street names can refer to different places. Compare the municipality as well as the street, and check that the organisation publishing the notice supplies the service at your address. The service pages distinguish water, electricity, heating, gas and other topics, but that grouping does not prove who supplies an individual building.
The street index contains locations found in retained public notices. It is not a complete address register or a real-time map of outages. A street with no result may have no retained notice, an alternative spelling, or a problem that has not been published.
Read the building numbers literally
If a source names particular building numbers, do not extend the statement to the whole street. If no number is listed, this site cannot confirm which entrance or building is affected. A heating plant name alone is not evidence that a particular home belongs to its network.
Open the official notice when the location is ambiguous. If your service is unavailable but the publication does not identify your address, contact the responsible provider using its verified contact information. Do not treat a nearby notice as an explanation without confirmation.
Practical guides
- Check whether a notice includes your address
Read the provider, street, municipality and building numbers together before treating a notice as relevant.
- Understand dates, time windows and elapsed notices
Separate publication time, announced work and source-check time, including work that crosses midnight.
- Use source checks without assuming full coverage
What a successful source check can establish, and why missing or old data needs caution.
- Read transport and traffic notices for a journey
Match the route, direction and announced period without treating a publication as a live arrival feed.
- Check pharmacy, parking and weather information
Use three city directories with their own source limits and avoid treating them as live availability.
